New receptionist
Maggie Lines has joined our team and will be our Friday receptionist. Maggie has recenlty moved into the area, and she comes to us with experience having worked in a GP practice for some years.
Goodbye to Nurse Katherine
We are sad to say goodbye to Katherine, who has worked with our team for the last 3 years. Katherine has moved to North Devon some 4 months ago, yet she continued to communte for 1 1/2 hours each way to come to work. She has now secured employment near her new home. Katherine was a very popular and experienced nurse, and a very relaible member of our team. We miss her, and our best wishes are with her in her new role.
Coffee morning
An incredible £467.55 was raised at the last coffee morning, and a further £104 was raised in our competition to win the worderful cake prepared by Mr Cook, for a grand total of £571.55!
A big thank you to all those who supported our coffee morning and helped raise funds to allow the Friends to purchase an ambulatory blood pressure monitor for the practice. We are very grateful for all the help and support.
A special gold star to Sue Harlow, who is tirelesly organising fund raising events. Also big thank you to the Friend of the surgery for their continued help and support.
